In 2001 in Frankurt/Main, the second generation of the exclusive Audi convertible was presented. Similarly to the previous model of 1991-2000, dating back to the design of the Audi 80, this cabrio offers comfortable seats for four people. While the other A4 versions underwent styling changes at the end of 2004, the Cabriolet version remained unchanged. It is still, however, an exclusive sports vehicle, driven by power plants taken from the range of Audi engines. At present, they are a 1.8-liter 163 hp turbo diesel, a 2.4-liter and 3.0-liter V6 engine of 170 or 220 hp and, since the end of 2002, also a 2.5-liter 163 hp V6 TDI unit. Upon request, this neat convertible, with petrol engines, may be furnished with Quattro four-wheel drive.
