In Geneva 2005, Audi presented the third generation of the racing version of the A4 model, marked with the RS4 symbol, offered in the sedan body version. The vehicle features a powerful 4.2-liter V8 engine developing 420 hp. Since the fall of 2003, the S4 Cabriolet has also been available. In this model, the 4.2-liter V8 engine develops 344 hp. In both cars a 6-speed gearbox and the Quattro system were employed. The performance of these exclusive Audi A4 versions is frequently better than the performance of the renown sports cars.
