After the termination of Omega production, the most exclusive Opel is the Signum, presented in Geneva in 2003. The vehicle utilizes all the mechanisms of the Vectra and the extended floor panel employed in d. the estate body version. The body however, is brand new, and its original concept and form to some extent differ from the standards obligatory in this class of vehicles. The interior of the Signum is well equipped and really spacious, and thanks to the sliding back seats, it allows individual configuration of the passenger and luggage space. This luxurious vehicle is equipped with power plants known from the Vectra. At the end of 2004, small changes of the body design were introduced.
